This item was perfect for me. The cord sticks out of the side of the plug rather than the back which meant I was able to put it behind a shelf I have. Because of the thick baseboard, my shelf could not sit flush against the wall which left just enough room for the thick pug. As some other reviewers have pointed out, the socket on the end of the cord sticks straight out rather than being at a right angle like most extension cords. Also, thanks to the flat design of the cord I was able to use a Wiremold C210 White Cordmate II Kit to route it around a door., When did they finally update this invention to be soooo much better?
