This laptop is excellent. Runs cool (no problems on my lap). Fast, new Intel Sandy Bridge is sweet. USB 3.0. built very solid., This is an excellent team, I think that HP puts a lot of loans in its notebook series ProBook. The touchpad is annoying but not annoying enough to complain. As for the extra software, not much in it at all. And all you need is a good uninstaller (third, I suggest that Revo Uninstaller Pro or advanced). He took what I wanted out and I have no problems. This is typical of many others. I would suggest not uninstall any HP software for some of them have been very useful....
