Harvest Moon 64 is a fun game in which you decide to run your grandfather's old farm and try to make a good living. It's not your blow off the monster's head kind of game. Your chracter's grandfather has passed away and you must help restore his farm back into a cheerful place that it was. All you have is your dog and a broken down farm to start out with but once you clean up everything and meet some of the townfolk you can begin your journey to a happy life. You'll have to raise animals such as cows,sheep,and chickens and grow crops to make money. The village is the place to go for crops,treats,and many other useful items.A nearby mountain just filled with Spirits and magic waits for your arrival. The local ranch sells animals and feed.
